Why chase the rain, he asked?

Because the rain tagged me

it is only fair.

The winner is up to the air,

It’s the only divider from her and me

For if air was to sound it would not decide

It would have faith inside,

For hope that I would one day catch the rain

And tear her cotton skin till her truth poured down

As a colorful orchestra of sounds

Some whisper,

Some bang!

As loud as they came!

None of which stops me from chasing her

But I know she feels for me

She takes pictures, and I’ve seen

She thinks she’s sneaky but it seems

That her tip toes are traveling schemes

She is plotting,

But I don’t care!

I want her to find me

So I can declare,

My love for her with no one I share

Would you like to kiss me?

She breathed,

Into my soft ear seed

Which grew dyes of warmth I need

But before our faces could meet

She stops to say hold your feet

You must catch me before it's too soon

Where the clouds divorce and borne the moon

And the light begs to consume!

Our love for each other in this black lagoon,

Where I must wait again for her to reappear,

But I fear not,

Because this is my chase to seize,

Within my reach she seeks to plead

Catch me before the moon bleeds

I got you, I announced

You're finally it,

She stops her tears

And kisses me,

As the world is paused

And I’m drowned in pleasure

I realize I see no other that fate would fit;

But before I could smile and flea

She whispers tag, you're it
