Who I Became

Oh how this sadness truly deepens thee
Only in sense of light can I show pride
If you could bear then this is meant to be
Because in you I vowed to seek and find
So now that you are here I want to show
The daring soul that ventures in your frame
In front of you I share this private woe
In front of you I show who I became
I append to this, though not a letter
A guide is this, to your own happiness
In you I regain a sense of pleasure
In you I truly hoped to have addressed
Now it’s time for you to have passed this on
For I have done the same, a time once upon.
