Where Desire May Lead

Don't fear the blood
fear the need
And wherever else
the desire may lead

You see the scars
hear the cries
And all of it hidden
by the worst lies

Do you care
or are you done
Maybe for some reason
you think it's all fun

Not only am I broken
the pieces are scattered
And all of my dreams
completely shattered

Sometimes the truth
is best unsaid
But what will you say
when I lie here dead

You may hate yourself
or even curse
I just can't figure out
what is worse

It's happened so much
been so long
But you'll never understand
why I'm gone

I reached my breaking point
finally gave in
Please forgive me
for my awful sin.
