When You're Suicidal

Wed, 12/31/2014 - 17:01 -- LadyAMC

mornings seem treacherous,

reminding you

that no matter what you've been promised,

it doesn't matter.

your mind is not your own,

telling you

that you can do anything and everything, but

it doesn't matter.

when you're suicidal

smiles seem taunting, words are more haunting, & everyone moves further away,

showing you

that everything everyone has ever told you is a lie;

you don't matter.

but

when you're suicidal

you don't see the worried glances or feel the comforting touch,

reminding you

that though they may not understand why rain only falls over you,

you still matter.

you don't hear the soft whispers in the wind,

telling you

that it won't rain forever;

you still matter.

when you're suicidal

you don't realize that the happiness Morning promised is inside of you,

showing you

that even though it rains, a rainbow comes after;

you still matter.
