What of the Prince?

You all know the stories told

The ones where the prince saves the day

But their side of the story is just as twisted

Just as dark as their counterpart tales

For Ashpuddle's story

The king found it a crime

A crime to leave a party such as his

He sent out his best riders

Not to find a bride but to find a criminal

A public announcement came to every town

That if this criminal were to show

She was to be put to death

It was only till the prince joined the cause

He wanted to slay the girl

But he found her and he married her

And no one knows why

You will still see the articles

The wanted posters

Asking the townspeople to kill

The one known as Ashpuddle

As for Rapunzel's prince

He did it on a dare

His friends mocked him

Told him horror stories about the tower

In which a lady stayed

His friends told him to climb the tower

And slay the beast dwelling inside

After finding her beautiful he married her

The poor fool

He then woke up to find his wife gone

He returned to the tower

Finding not his blue eyed beauty

But an enchantress who blinded him

Now he lives in the forest like an animal

And Rapunzel has never been heard from again

Snow-white's prince did not live up to standards

He was kicked out of his father's house

He had brought shame to his father

The prince had not married or brought an heir

At the time he was nearing half his life span

He was weary and found the dwarves

They took him in for the night

The prince rested and found snow-white

He bartered with the dwarves to give the coffin to him

They gave it to him because they felt bad

The prince thought the dead woman

So beautiful in death

Would get him his place at his father's side

As snow-white awoke,

The prince immediately decided to marry her

The king saw the prince's beautiful bride and let him in

The day of the wedding came with one groom and no bride

To this day the prince searches for his lost damsel.
