Wake Up

Police brutality

Y’all need to wake up it’s a reality

Kids can get shot

Without a second of thought

Parents living absent from their child

So they walk a mile

Screaming black lives matter

But police come and people scatter

Police never get in trouble

There is never a rebuttal

No repercussion of talking a life

Even if it’s a newlywed wife

Cops kill an american, every seven hours

It seems to me, they have too much power

Not all cops are good, yet not all are bad

When a cop pulls you over, don’t make them mad

You might piss them off and become a accident

Then you can’t graduate

Being a minority isn’t a choice

But we will always have a voice
