Ursula's Untold Story by SimSim K.

My name is Ursula,

Maybe you've seen my picture around.,

But it's said that a picture is worth a thousand words,

So let me tell you the one you haven't heard.

I liked Triton, king of the sea,

But he never seemed to notice me.

Though he was busy being king,

I knew he loved music and liked to sing.

I wanted to learn, and asked his daughters for help,

But they had the nerve to laugh at me and treat me like kelp.

That is, with the exception of Ariel,

She and I sometimes even got along well.

Still, my once warm heart turned colder than you'd believe

And Ariel was easy to deceive.

When you want something you may start to obsess

But now I realize that I'd made a huge mess.

What I had schemed for, I still lost,

Because anger and revenge almost always come with a cost.
