Unrequited Love

As I walk down the hall

I see your pretty face and all

You see me and smile

And my heart stops for a while

We've been friends for years

Sharing everything from laughter to tears

but for me its become more

Something so powerful I want to stand in the hallway and roar

"I'm in love with you,

Always will be !", but I know if you knew

You'd feel sad because you dont feel the same way

And we'd grow apart day-by-day

Ruining our friendship forever

Making my heart instantly sever

So just for now I'll keep wishing on the stars above

That one day we'll be more than just friends, my unrequited love
