Unplug me please, just for one day,
Help me melt my stress away.
TV, Mac, iPod, and cell,
They have become my living Hell.

Unplug me please, just for one day,
My mother has something to say.
She talks to me, I cannot hear,
I have my headphones in my ears.

Unplug me please, just for one day,
My techno-clutter clouds my way.
Ringtones sounding, text tones chime,
Teen toys, they steal all of my time.

Unplug me please, just for one day,
My head is spinning far away.
I cannot focus on my work,
These college apps drive me berserk.

Unplug me please, just for one day,
Keep my cellphone far away.
No insta-grams or Facebook posts,
I long for peace and quiet most.
