A Universe Without Rhyme

Location

If I could change it, I would...

Get rid of bad, and make it all good,

Sell the hatred in the world for love,

Grow wings and fly like the birds above.

If I could change it, I would...

Wipe away the tears, and make it all good.

Carry the river of time backwards in space

Make it rain unto us as we locked in an embrace.

If I could, believe me, I would!

Make all the unknown understood.

Erase the storm clouds in the skies,

Tell her the truth, right into her eyes.

I would make her smile again if I could

Fool only myself, that it was all good,

Not know it was a dream throughout,

Enjoy the mirage despite the drought.

If I could change it, I would...

Bring her back, and make it all good.

Hold her in my arms just one last time,

Before she left, and my universe

Lost its chime.
