To trust one's self

Sun, 05/31/2015 - 01:34 -- azsxw1

I live my love alone
no freedom chimes its bells
life and it's charms walk away
and no longer can freedom stay

It wasn't very long
when freedom had to leave
her flame of red went dim
much like my flame within

Oh how that flame shined
back before my love ran dry
her flame of red forever I said
I'd fight and bled for the freedom i'd wed

if she shall return
her fire once again be lit
forever i'd love her again
and never would my love refrain

I live my love alone
no freedom chimes its bells
life and it's charms walk away
no longer will freedom come my way.
