Tierra Materna

Tue, 04/16/2013 - 21:20 -- snc1103

Nonchalantly, I watch mother earth’s face erode
as her acid tears stream down her face
she silently wonders what ever happened to this place
this earth we call our home
is nothing but waste upon buildings of chrome
We inject steroids upon our bovine
and pesticides run through the grapevine
like the stories of global warming from down below
we are sinking even further into this gaping hole
of global execution
instead of settling on building more institutions
we need to make a constitution or perhaps a solution for all of this pollution
let us save our maternal earth who provides so much
let us strive to clean up and get in touch
with our immaculate past of clean rivers and streams
before our earth is torn apart by the seams.
