These Students are our Future

Teachers

Why don’t you stop lecturing

And listen for a change

Maybe pay attention to the kids in the back row

Who might have some scars to show

And goes home to cut and feel low

These kids are your future

They don’t  just need a tutor

And the days are only getting fewer

High school teachers don’t do much

But all some kids need is an encouraging touch

We know we’re worth something and should be treated as such

Please do a selfless act

Help out the hurting kid; make an impact

And you might just save a life in fact
