If the world was my classroom,
I would teach a girl to learn and to love,
And not go to jail.

I would teach a girl to not envy but embrace,
To push onward even when it seems like there is no escape.

It is important for her to know,
She is beautiful inside and out,
And that no one should ever make her pout.

I would teach a girl that my classroom is small,
And there is so much more beyond the hollow walls.

The world is her playhouse,
And only she can decide,
To seek out opportunity,
Or run and hide.
