Swimming in an ocean of uncertainty

My future is uncertain.

I feel as if nothing is constant.

Sometimes I feel like a piece of driftwood,

I'm being tossed back and forth by the waves.

But they are not ocean waves.

They are the waves of time,

The waves of relationships,

The waves of trial.

Every storm will come to an end.

And one day I will set me feet on solid groud.

l walk along the sandy beaches of my future.

But until then, I must learn how to swim.
