Come on, my sweet love just last year
Turn around, we were never here.
I took your love and wrecked it all
Cut the ties and let you fall.
So in this moment I can see
All that you have been through for me.

When I asked you to be patient
I did not know how quickly time went.
I should have been more aware
That often time is just not fair.
In the morning I’ll be with you
But doubt our love will be made new.

Come on, sweet love what happened here?
Sullen expressions draw near.
Now all your love is wasted
Well who was I to take it?
Why am I breaking down inside?
Because of all the senseless lies.

So who will wipe your tears away
Who will cause your frown to fade?
Oh how I wish it were me
Who had been there to bring you glee.
Tonight I stand here by myself
Forced to put your memory on this shelf.
