Sun and Moon

Location

The sun shines over me,

Shining a great smile,

Shining like a spot light on the stars of our stories,

Twinkling a hello and a goodbye each day,

Waving his rays of hope and brightness when he greets the world,

At night when he goes to bed, he disappears to the unknown,

That is when the moon rises,

A more peaceful and relaxing symbol of our universe,

The moon, like most humans, goes through phases,

Phases in which he is bright and no one can dull his shine,

And dim and hard to see at other times,

The sun and moon have their ups and downs each day,

But they never give up because they know that even when they are down,

They will soon rise again.
