I am a man stuck in place

while others were always told, go ahead or try again

when I put my hand out all I received was a disconcerting look and told no as if it were weird that I even try

they looked apon me and saw what they have seen their whole life

a broken man

Beaten down by the you cants and why bother

I am now a shadow of a man wrapped in the expectations of my society 

stuck in place 

waiting for redemption
