Stormy

Location

Stormy

He walks through his world with strength in his stride

He flaunts his power and all other creatures hide

Razor sharp claws protrude from his hands and feet

His fur is well kept, shiny, and neat

His green eyes scan back and forth, in search

For his prey as he listens carefully from his perch

His ears are restless and flicker around

He leaps down and lurks across the ground

His muscles tense just before he strikes

His teeth are deadly rows of white spikes

He could best any foe in the days of his prime

But eating and sleeping now take up his time

With his ferocity gone he has become lazy and fat

He once was a warrior of the wild, now he's just my cat
