Stories at Sea

I'll tell my story
You tell yours
I don't know what will happen beyond here
Whether my eyes will remain dry
Whether I'll need a place to hide
If I will meet the sky
If I will pass and rise

People tell stories on paper
You'll find mine in my eyes
Silent, alone, behind
But so much to say inside

Unable to do what I must
It won't go my way
Yet I can't help but hope
It just might be okay
Keep staying strong
It won't be long
There's a sea to cross
But it won't be long
