Statue

Statue, o woman of faith and freedom

Stand as a bulwark in the water

Inviting us to join

The masses of people

In the land of immigrants

Statue, whom will you harbor?

Lost ones, the starving and the hurt?

Or dangerous men

Will your benevolent nature

Fall prey to runaways

Who destroy your treasure?

Statue, beware

We are your treasure

Liberty is the chest protecting us

My country
