Smiles

The tilt of the mouth of a lover

Is something that you always want to see

And you want to banter with him or her like a brother

Because little moments like that make you as happy as you can be.

You know they'll never hurt you

Because all they do is laugh for days, mouth parted while holding you close.

And when you need cheering up, there's nothing they won't do

To bring a smile on your face and make you warm as toast.

Though you two may argue, the frown never stays for long,

Because at the end of the day, the smile remains comfortable and strong.
