SEARCHING INWARDS

1. They say I often write on life,

And I asked, should I write on kite?

I picture my futue within sight,

And from life's references I cite,

Looking inwards with my mind's eye,

Keeping my hope alive like the sky,

Aiming at the highest topmost height,

Never low but soaring high,

2. I write and on life I concenrate,

Which is the only way I satiate,

It gives me hope and not on anyone wait,

Putting pen to paper makes me hale,

Anytime life wanna make me hate,

I remember good things to boost my faith,

Living and breathing are not just of fate,

There's always something to appreciate.

3.When life's burden seems to crush me,

As if  I'm in the middle of the red sea,

When there's nothing to eat, not even tea,

I remember life doesn't always go with ease,

So, I always persevere and best be,

Nothing lasts, not even christmas eve,

The choice is to be industrious like the bee,

Nothing must make me slip not even banana peels.
