The Rose That Got Away

She was as beautiful as a red rose in the wind. When she twirled around and spinned.

I would see her walking in the hall, too nervous to ask her to the ball.

But, one day I manned up, I asked her too a movie and she said, "yup."

She was the girl of my dreams me and her made a great team.

One day I messed up, I was so lucky to have her, but now I'm out of luck.

I weped right when she told me, to think what we could be.

I told her that one day we would go to the Milky Way, but she was the rose

that got away.
