Rest now soldier

Rest now soldier your quest is put to rest

Bloody wounds ache in sorrow it'll be better for you tomorrow

You'll leave the battle field once in for all

He's waiting to take you home soldier hear his call

Shut your pain reddened eyes and sleep child

Your fight is done the condition is now mild

Your brothers and sisters await their fellow fighter

Let your wings glide you higher

Your lips drenched with cold blood

If I could cry me a river it would be a flood

A long night awaits with mother moon

With those eyes anyone could swoon

Your dog tag leads you home where you belong

He's in heaven hear his song
