I'm not dead but barely breathing.
Fighting.
Trying.
Inside me, my worlds collapsing.
Who I used to be is slowly dying.
Can't hold on.
But must be strong.
For them.
For those who see a light in me.
A flame I thought had burned out.
It's not over.
Hope shimmers at the brink.
Just one more struggle because I'm finally seeing.
I'm not slowly sinking.
You've got me thinking,
Im not alone.
Your arms have become a home.
Hold me until I can stand,
On my own.
My strength has grown
And my scars will fade.
I will be everlasting.
Forever I will stay.
