Pretty Eyes

Her eyes brighter than fire flies In the night skies But more dangerous than streetlightsOn a school nightYou look pretty strong  Probably turn into stone She could be Medusa's clone Eyes will steal your soul But her face more beautiful than gold Do you wanna be bold You try gazing into her face And find your soul misplacedBecause her kiss got you lacedLike marijuana and cocaine She'll blow your mind like propaneBy whispering sweet words Just so she'll be heardBut you'll only get caught if you listen So keep your distance She is only for the strong hearted If you're unawareThis is where it all startedDaddy left her as a little girl That's when her head started to twirlThinking no man will show her love Taking away the innocenceLike letting free a white doveBut I believe I could helpI can show her wealth Not with money, but with affection All her life She's craved a strong connection So if we stop being lazyShe can be my lady But I'll stay cautious about her eyesEven though they're filled with liesI know that's just a disguise That'll only deny My request to discover the beauty behind those pretty eyes
