Poetic Justice

Location

This disease is stealing you away from everybody you care about

inability to disclose

you need help but you can't accept it

too proud to take anybody's hand

or to admit defeat

and then with poetic justice

and sudden clarity

you

realize

you can only swim for so long

before your limbs

starts to fail you

then your lungs

slowly becoming cyanotic

ironic reflection of what is inside

fatality is awaiting

your flaws have

killed you
