The Perception of Women; Perfection at a Price.

Women are faced with a societal burden.

Standards she's measured by just leave her hurtin'.

Hair, Makeup, and body all have to be flawless,

There's really no room to be thoughtfull and modest.

So If I had the power to change just one thing,

I'd change up this standard to which we all cling.

Our hair can't be perfect, not every follicle.

A request such as that is really illogical!

And to the girl that thinks she's no more than her makeup,

I'd proclaim to her, "Girl, you need to wake up!"

You're shining and gorgeous,

Your talent's enormous!

You're adequate and awesome in all things you do,

So don't look through their standards, you just look thorugh you!
