perception versus deception

suddenly,

perception is changed.

the fatal flaw it carries

becomes visible.

but, dear friend,

be wary.

for the things we can see

are not the things we can be.

we must change.

in order for night to turn to day,

there must be light coming through.

to see is to believe it is true.

the time for change is now.

but suddenly the crows all

squak,

squak,

squak.

skeptics skewer sick spurts of self-deception.

to perceive is to deceive.

to be seen is not to be.

we are all one,

you see.

we all must run

from the things we can be.

danger is near and safety is far.

we must pave the way before

we can change who we are.
