Our Society Is Not The Problem

Location

Everyone makes mistakes,

That is inevitable.

Everyone has flaws,

I know this to be true.

I know that everyone has this percieved notion that one must look and act the part in order to be a "sombody" in this world of sin.

Well I say:

Why must we all be flawless?

Why must we have to scratch and scrape our way to the top and push everyone else down along the way, instead of building eachother up?

I am sick and tired of seeing not only my people, but all people having to beg for enough money just to be able to eat a meal.

And seeing ungrateful fortunate people throwing away the very food that could've saved someone else's life.

Our society is not the problem.

It is the people who have it all and who act like just because they couldn't get the IPhone 6 for Christmas, or their birthday, or whatever, that it's the end of the world.

But there are dying people out there who need someone to help them stay alive.

They need someone to be that voice for them because who else will?

This may not be the best poem, or any poem at all, but I felt like this needed to be said.

I said my piece. I hope y'all make a change.
