This is Our Country

Every time you turn on the TV

There’s more bad news.

It's so easy to ignore

When it's not affecting you.

People are suffering.

Children are dying.

When justice can no longer win

What should you do?

Pray for the people

Who see nothing wrong.

Fight for the children

Who have no place to go.

March for the women

Who deserve more.

'Cause this is our country.

This is our home.

You can leave if you want to

Nothing will change.

There will still be refugees

Who need our help.

Even our education

Is under attack.

When the future is in trouble

What will you do?

Pray for the people

Who see nothing wrong.

Fight for the children

Who have no place to go.

March for the women

Who deserve more.

'Cause this is our country.

This is our home.

Where's your compassion?

Don't you care?

Where's your heart?

Can't you feel the pain?

How can you sit and watch

As families are torn apart?

If you were in their place

What would you do?

Pray for the people

Who see nothing wrong.

Fight for the children

Who have no place to go.

March for the women

Who deserve more.

'Cause this is our country.

This is our home.
