One Day

Thu, 08/17/2017 - 17:30 -- ahxra

with eager eyes and a hopeful heart i look up to you, seeing only but the man of my dreams. the sun would come from behind your head, giving you a halo that could have only been worn by you, my love.
nothing can hurt a couple in love, for they are invincible against the thorns of the roses that they clasp between their hands so tightly that the blood seeping out look like petals.
rose coloured glasses must come off when it is dark, my love, but i can still feel your heartbeat against my chest and i know that i am safe in your arms. nothing could feel as perfect as that. we might want to seek another light, but none could shine as bright as the halo you wore. sometimes it is hard to see what is right in front of us when it is dark, but we must trust in the beating in our chest.
