Oh, Future.

Location

Oh future, how bright it may seem,

The light does not yet beam,

For one must make the best use of this,

To not create an embarrassing miss.

The work that must be done may seem harsh,

But it is not as bad as living in a marsh,

Where the alligators cry and wail,

And you stand there, with nothing to bail.

Oh future, how you twist and turn,

And how much I still have to learn,

For I am an amateur who does not quit,

While possessing a fair amount of wit.

What can be overcome in short time,

Like with Autism, who owes me a dime,

For I am to it like a white dove's gleam

Performing things others can only dream.

Oh future, how bright you can be,

When I work and do things carefully.

The only way to make that light bulb shine,

Is to work your way to your own shrine.
