Feeling beside myself

looking inside myself

tryna write a rhyme thinking "hey maybe getting high will help"

to clear my mind today

not depressed or happy, I'm just not feeling alive today

feeling like I've died today

I just don't feel like myself

cause time and time again all these rhymes don't seem to help

in sorting out life

wondering if the future is a day cause right now it all feels like night

looking for light, a new beginning, cause right now I'm feeling lost

looking for a sense of belonging cause right now I'm feeling tossed

away

it's taking everything I have just to make it through a day

looking back every night wishing i had accomplished something

knowing that life is taking everything feeling like death would cost nothing
