My skin

My skin is soft, don't you know?   Yet, you let these words of yours cut through it so mercilessly. My skin is soft, don't you know?So make it stop, these untrue hurtful words: they slit my wrists deeper than any blade I tried  My skin is soft, don't you know?  Please mend this broken skin with threads of friendship and love, won't you?My skin is soft, don't you know?So soothe this scarred skin. It is your doing. Heal these vague maps your words drew on me.  My skin is soft, don't you know?  Please fill in these wounds with kindness, my destroyer. You ripped this layer, oh so badly. My skin is soft, don't you know? And my blood is salty, flowing endlessly.Take notice of it, stop your blades from hurting me deeper     Please, don't you know my skin is soft just like you?     Please, don't you understand my cuts and scars?     Please, stop. You are beginning to be the reason I'll bleed to death one day.Stop: for my skin is soft, and because of you it drowns in red.
