My Mind

Location

college
United States

In the ‘90’s of last century, I was born

By the Pacific Ocean I once called home.

To Illinois I came then went to school

Scholar by day, farmer by night’s dome.

To college I went to study premed

While earning my degree, my hobby—marching band.

My desire to nurture and still perform music.

I traveled and played, performed—it was grand.

Also sat in the dormatory—studying biology.

On top of the world, but never lost sight.

Play on the weekends, bookworm by weekday.

Both passions were met in my doctor’s plight.
