Munchkin

Fifth grade, awkward phase

Braces, glasses, middle school days

Lunch room talks about nonsense

Little did I know,

One of those conversations, would have the greatest consequence

My best friend came crashing into my world

Like chocolate and vanilla, we were perfectly swirled

Now our senior year,

She's there to wipe my every tear,

Make me laugh until I cry,

Or tell me to forget about that guy.

I love her soul, her giving nature,

But most of all,

I love the fact that she is my best friend.
