Mother Earth

Mother Earth

rejoices hymns

of children

cradled in branches

birthed by her human mothers

Mother Earth

rooted in pain

endurer of vain

bears blessing, sends prayer

among her daughters

Mother Earth

grower of leaders

nurtures those

in fear of succeeding

Mother Earth

crib of swaddled

grave of old

replenishes her entity

throughout passing centuries

Mother Earth

healer of all

Mother Earth

anything, but small
