Moonlight's Dance
Moonlight, moonlight, so high in the sky,
so brightly you dance upon us all.
Moonlight, moonlight, my how you shine,
from the Earth, you seem so small.
As you dance upon the lake, I can't help but stare,
as the music plays from below.
Your light upon the lake forms a glare,
as the crickets play and the wind begins to blow.
Night after night I wait for you,
sad and alone.
I hope you feel the same way too,
though you are known.
This is the Moonlight's dance,
so go ahead and take a chance.
