Maybe

Maybe...

She, she walks around holding herself together

He, he walks around like a king.

She, she walks around drowning in her sweater,

and he. He is nowhere to be seen.

She, she's trying to keep her mind at peace.

He, he is pouring another drink.

She, she is watching anxiety increase,

He is nowhere to be seen.

The memories start to go through her mind.

Oh, she isn't fine.

The memories start to go through his mind,

He's running out of time.

Maybe it's a little too late.

Maybe it's been too long.

Maybe she can't forgive.

Maybe he can't admit he's wrong.

Maybe it's a little too late,

and that's why I'm writing this song.

Maybe I can't forgive,

maybe you can't admit you're wrong.

She, she is dreaming of another life

He, he is wasting all his time.

She, she still thinks about being his wife.

He is nowhere to be seen.

The memories start to go through her mind.

Oh, she isn't fine.

The memories start to go through his mind,

Oh, he isn't fine.

She, she starts to pick herself back up.

He. He starts to think about what was.

She, she starts trying to move on.

He, he shows back.

The memories start to go through my mind.

Oh, I am not fine.

The memories start to go through your mind,

Oh, you aren't fine.

But maybe it's not too late.

Maybe it hasn't been too long.

Maybe I can forgive.

Maybe you can admit you're wrong.

Maybe it's not too late.

Maybe it's not too long.

Maybe I can forgive,

and admit it wasn't all your fault.
