Man

A word used as a way to perceive a full grown male.

Its meaning usually misunderstood by those who feel it necessary to label someone they deem important.

I am a Man.

I am mass of sincerity, a depiction of exhilaration, an entity of serenity.

But, like calm before the storm, I explode.

I explode at thought of being told different by the person I stepped outside of myself to be with.

To be told, “No, you’re not a man. You’re a little boy” and to be compared to a simple minded creature incapable of holding his own in this world.

As my anger builds at this notion; I shout, scream, and claw my ideal image in to minds of my nay-sayers.

Only to one day look into the mirror, and cower at what I see.

No longer am I a boy trying to prove his self a man, but an animal trying to show his own humanity.
