When I was little people would talk saying I would never make it 

growing up with a single mother who never made it.

I dont mean in life I mean in education,

but I am strong and filled with dedication,

because I was raised by a women who surrounded me with motivation.

Who encourged me and did everything so my future would be amazing.

All I can do is push myself closer and keep chasing. 

I'm not just writing this to win,

I'm writing this to make it.

 this scholarship is awsome because it's a step to my life changing.

I couldn't be more grateful for such a gift,

something that will help me lift. 

This would truley lead me to make it.
