Make America Great Again

I am so proud to live in a country as great as America.

I'm so happy with the involvement of the American people in politics these days,

it's inspiring to see everyone, widespread across the country, come together, united.

What is it today?

Are they trying to deport our friends?

Are they trying to take away our health care?

It doesn't matter what the issue is, I'm glad everyone now is calling their senators

night and day!

In fact, it's necassary to call them in the middle of the night, because I guess our "leaders"

can't be trusted while we sleep.

Scribbling in marginal notes on the mountain of papers already stacked sky-high?

Do we need to hold all-night vigils to prevent theft by our elected officials?

How is this accepted?

How is this legal?

I guess this is what is making America great again

Although I don't know what made it bad in the first place.

Was it our first black president?

A female secretary of state?

I guess those are worse then sexual predators and pedophiles.

I'm so glad to live in a country like this

where people are afraid to lose insurance, or their homes,

or their lives

because of their skin color, or their sexual preferences, or their religion.

I want to go to college.

I want to change the world.

I want to change this country.

I want to be proud of it.
