Ma, Quick!

Ten PM, Twelve AM,

Two AM, Four...

You know that I'm awake,

Where's the milk?

I want more!

Six AM, Eight AM,

Ten AM - WOAH, Ma...

do you smell that?

So do I

(Ooh!) Here comes more!

Ten months old, Twelve months old,

Eighteen, now Twenty-four,

I've learned to walk

Now I'm running,

Later I'll be on the floor!

Two years old, Four years old,

Six years old, please wait...

"Kindergarten scares me.

Mommy, please stay!"

I cried as you went away

Eight, Nine, Ten, Eleven,

Oh dear, I'm already Twelve!

My emotions are like a playground swing,

None of my clothes fit,

And what's all this I see growing?!

Thirteen, Fourteen,

Fifteen and Sixteen,

School just really sucks

and It seems everyone's doing more than kissing!

Seventeen, Eighteen....

Please momma, don't you cry!

I have graduation soon

and the mascara you bought isn't water proof!

Nineteen. Twenty.

My apartment is terribly lonely.

Momma, please come over soon!

I'm in dire need of your company...

Twenty-one and Twenty-two

Wow, how quick time really flies!

Forgive me, I know it's been

a couple years since I've dropped by...

Twenty-three Twenty-four,

He knelt down on one knee,

Right there on the floor.

Twenty-four twenty-three

Twenty-two twenty-one!

The wedding preparations - they're almost done!

Twenty. Fifteen.

Ten... Five...

The day your baby grows up will soon arrive...

Ma, quick! Time will slip.

Soon I'll be marching down the aisle!

I know I caused you trouble, Ma,

Restlessness, and headaches galore...

But aren't moments like these the ones worth living for?
