Lulled

As the snow falls I feel the memories fade
We're given a slate of time that can't be erased
We're lulled-
Into the cadence of life and the thought of love Herself.
As the ice forms on the window pane
There's only silence that paces the floor
We'll be lulled-
Into the rhythm of patience and the thought of hate Himself.
And there will be a day
We will find the way
To find the good in things again.
Don't be lulled into the darkness-
To believe your life is fruitless.
We will find a new song to sing
And no one can stop the sharp sting
Of Truth.
And Love, Herself.
