Love is like Wonderland

Tue, 08/15/2017 - 22:26 -- MilyYen

What I was expecting, was not her at all,

My heart beating until it falls.

The hole that was held for many years in between,

Has finally opened with her chasing the Hare for his ring.

It's too dangerous to be this close, but she insists that she misses me the very most.

As I tell myself to wake up from this dream, I forget about the consequences that never let me sleep.

For I am not a man, not a bunny, not a cat, nor a caterpillar that smokes,

I'm a girl that's been taken by the Queen of the Hearts.

Her love is as crazy as the cat that tore me apart.

In frustration, in confusion, oh, I hope there's more!

Or else our love would just be considered a bore.

Love is like Wonderland, so mysterious and nice, until the Queen stabs you way more than just twice.

Washed up in blue, I wonder if the sky is left smooth, because I'm more Mad like the Hatter while Alice is you.
