Love is a Venom

Love is nothing but an empty promise filled with Venom.

Love is a venom.

That's why love is affiliated with the heart.

Love is pumped through your veins causing hallucinations that's he's never going to strike you again, that she was just a “friend”.

Side effects of love include, but are not limited to:

  • Butterflies in your stomach that leave you feeling hopeless
  • The delusion that the rest of the world is out to get you and he is the only one that can save you

  • Irrational conclusions to fill in the missing pieces in his stories

  • The assumption that the people who care about you most are nothing but lying snakes.

As months pass in a blur the venom pumping through your veins will be nothing but a trace

and you will start to question the intentions of the man who whispers sweet nothings in your ear.

And then with a pin prick he will inject you with the venom leaving you paralyzed while reassuring you that he does this because he loves you.
