Love is Love

Out here, it's just you and me

No one telling us who to be

The moonlight and the stars shining so bright embrace us as we embrace each other

Out here we don't have to worry about society telling us that we can't love one another

As I look into her eyes, I am at ease

Out here, there are no limitations; we are able to do as we please

Our love is free, our love is kind

Our love is pure, our love is undefined

But deep inside there is a pain that resides

There is a pain that comes from the fact that we have to hide

Love knows no barriers, love knows no bounds

To know that our love isn't truly accepted is like a never ending wound

We wait for the day that the world will see

That we are two human beings in love

And that's all it should be
