Love Hope and Dreams
I will now step over the soft velvet rope of hope
And my dreams to come true ;
I walk directly into this massive Hudson River
painting and pick my way along the Palisades
with a stick I snapped off a dead tree.
My poor heart is ready to paint thee who loved me
Some time ago when love had made dreams .
I will skirt the smoky, nestled towns with what
I can see , My eyes our out looking on the beauty
Of the streets and the beauty of love what I once known of ,
I will pain and pain to make this dream come true ,
Iwill seek the path were lovers go to make dreams there own
I will pain the look of love that are in their eyes ;
I become lost, without hope of ever finding the way back
To the museum of dreams .
I will stand on the bluffs in nineteenth-century clothes,
I will stand so very bold with so much control ;
I dwarf among rock, hills, and flowing water,
Just to see what my eye's would see ,
If it was love that I found I will paint it a hundred time
With passion and so much love to give in the colors I put
In my paintings for the world to see what I see ,
I love to feel the brush stroke on my head,
It feels like silk in a loves land ,
I will hide in the green covers of forests
And revile the lovers that walk among it ,
Holding hands and wearing wedding bands ,
Walking in love like heaven above gave them their hopes
And dreams what true love can be ,
leaning over the soft velvet rope,
I give out my love and my dreams to the eyes that see what I see
From my eyes to the color paints to what the drawing I bring to the,
I will spot my tiny figure moving in the stillness
and cry out, pointing for the others to see,
Oh the love of my hand can show many dreams from what I see ,
where there is no vaulting landscape to explore,
none of this birdsong that halts me in my tracks,
and no wide curving of this river that draws with a lovers path ,
my steps toward the misty vanishing point.
Is were I gave my heart for all the world to see how much love
Is with in me , all my hopes and dreams of love I put down in
Colors and paint for all eyes to see .
